Navigate the top bar
Point Docs are versioned. This is v1.0.0.0.
Applies to: All Point users.
The top bar keeps navigation and high-frequency actions available while you move between records and reports.
Controls
| Control | Use |
|---|---|
| Menu button | Expand or collapse the navigation sidebar. Point remembers the choice on that browser. |
| point. home | Return to the Business overview. |
| + New | Open quick creation for common records such as an invoice, bill, customer, or journal entry. |
| Breadcrumbs | See your current location and move back through the active path. |
| Find anything | Open the command palette. Ctrl+K or Command+K opens it from the keyboard. |
| Appearance | Choose an available theme and navigation appearance. |
| Account controls | Open notifications, company options, preferences, and sign-out actions allowed for your role. |
Search and keyboard controls
- Type at least two characters to search supported records as well as navigation and commands.
- Use the Up and Down arrow keys to move through results, Enter to open one, and Escape to close the palette.
- Current quick commands include Dashboard, Customer Invoices, Vendor Bills, General Ledger, Trial Balance, Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Customers & Contacts, Chart of Accounts, settings, and selected + New actions.
- Search coverage can vary by installed module and user permission.
