Bank reconciliation,
done in minutes.
Upload your bank statement CSV and your book's bank transactions. We auto-match them, you review the leftovers, and you get a proper reconciliation proof — bank balance + deposits in transit − outstanding checks = book balance.
Free tool from Tetra M Labs. Everything runs in your browser — your financial data is never uploaded anywhere. For full double-entry accounting with automatic reconciliation, see Point.

Everything runs in your browser — your files are never uploaded anywhere. Amounts are treated as 2-decimal (cents).
Bank statement CSV required
Book transactions CSV required
Export your accounting software's bank-account transactions for the period. A reconciliation needs both sides — without your books there is nothing to match against.
Period & balances
Book opening balance = your ledger's bank balance at the start of the period. The proof compares the statement against your books.
For best results
- Include a reference column. Auto-matching works best when your CSV has a separate cheque / reference / transaction ID column — we detect it automatically whatever it's called or wherever it sits.
- Keep references consistent. Matching is exact: cheque “001234” in your books won't match “1234” on the statement. Consistent numbering gives the cleanest auto-match.
- Use exact amounts. Lines only auto-match when amounts agree to the cent. A difference is never papered over — it stays unmatched for you to review, which is the correct behavior in a reconciliation.
- Cheque numbers inside description text aren't detected. If your bank puts “CHQ 12345” inside the narrative with no separate column, reference matching can't see it — amount + date matching still applies.
- Include a balance column if your bank provides one. Many bank CSVs have a running-balance column — we detect it automatically and fill in the closing balance for you. Otherwise, type the closing balance from your statement (PDF statements always show it).
- Review the leftovers. Unmatched lines are usually timing differences (deposits in transit, outstanding checks), bank charges to record, or book errors to fix — the proof report shows you exactly where the difference sits.
This tool is a helper, not a substitute for professional review. Amounts are treated as 2-decimal. Always verify the proof report before relying on it.
